Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 325 of 510 | ANN.lu |

OK then I should get started then....

I like the IF word

I'm not arguing with any lawyer since I don't know shit about legal issues or laws....
And let me get one thing clear....MorphOS is by no means "competitive".
>"Play by the rules?" Well, Mr. Fan
At least you know your place m8.

Ah you're that kind of guy. In other words: I can smack your head against the wall as long as the cops don't see it. Maybe we should play a game of soccer with a blind refree if that's you way you look at it....
>Honestly I don't give a shit whatever has the name "AmigaOS". If that's why >you've been sticking around for the last years, then.. fine.. fine, just fine.
There are two thinks which define the amiga: the hardware and the OS. We all know that the hardware needs to be replaced, so the OS is now the only thing which defines the amiga.
Even Amithlon is more an amiga then a Pegasos/MorphOS combo since it runs at least the AmigaOS. Let me ask you a question. Can you call OS2/Warp MSDOS just because it's able to run MSDOS programs to some extend.
BTW, Microsoft went its own way with windows and OS2/Warp died. That's a nice omen don't you think?

Now that's good for you.....running foreign osses on Amiga hardware...but what if you run Linux68k on a MAC? Do you still say that you are running Linux on your amiga!!??
So let's say that you can run MorphOS on a MAC? Then you call it an amiga? Or are you just running a foreign OS on a MAC? And what if you run MacOS native on a MAC clone? Do you call it a MAC?
What i'm trying to say that MorphOS shouldn't pretend to be like if it's a new AmigaOS. It's a new OS a la OS2/Warp and capable of running up to 3.1 amiga software.
They should stop confusing users and start their own MorphOS platform. Is that too hard to understand for you? |
