Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 340 of 510 | ANN.lu |

Yes, I used it consiously.
"I'm not arguing with any lawyer since I don't know shit about legal issues or laws....".. You no shit about other things too, but that doesn't stop you? :)
"MorphOS is by no means "competitive"." What is it then? :)
Yes, you CAN smack my head against the wall. The question is: Would you? If you did, then nothing would happen unless I went to the police or similar. I think be both think that this "smack" would be morally wrong. I don't think Morphos is morally wrong. It might be legally wrong. But that has not been decided.
Hardware and OS you say. Fine. By trademark, maybe. The definition of an Amiga in 1992 was made by Commodore. Since then I think the amiga-name and it's community has evolved. We talk of amiga as something a little different from what we did in the early 90's. An Amiga today can be defined by so many things. I wouldn't call Amithlon an amiga, but a PC running AmigaOS. I will call Pegasos for Pegasos, Morphos for Morphos, AmigaOne for AmigaOne etc. But they will all belong/be-related to the amiga-community. I think it's unfair of something to try to control the community.
I would call OS2/Warp for OS2/Warp because that's the name. If MSDOS had a community I'm sure the OS2/Warp would be related to it :)
If OS2/Warp had a broad community, I'm sure(?) it will still live on to some point. The most people, Amiga isn't existing. Not to us.
Why would I say that I ran Linux on a Mac(computer) if I ran Linux on Amiga? It might be just as little impressive.
Morphos on Mac: Morphos on Mac. But it would still be an option for me, as a member of the amiga community.
By definition, what do you mean by a Morphos platform? |
