Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 363 of 510 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Amiga user in waiting... on 16-Apr-2002 23:09 GMT | In reply to Comment 362 (Neko): If you were to open a store called "Wall-Mart" that sold the same products as "Wal-Mart" you would be sued and lose.
If you marketed a ketchup brand called "Hunt" using a similar formula to "Hunts" you would be sued and lose.
If you make an operating system, proclaim it to be the successor to "X" OS and use a similar formula.... what happens?
As I said earlier in post #276, it really doesn't matter.
AmigaOS 4.x stands a small chance for large scale success.
The best Morphos can hope for is to have more users than the Atari Falcon does in 2-3 years. They will likely fade into memory in a year or two.
Pegasos can only be successful if they license AmigaOS, or if the LinuxPPC faction drives sales.
Sad, but true. |
