Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

If they would, they would probably not be able to win a case against anyone trying to keep the platform
going anyway. They would not be able to claim that someone is destroying their market to
the court.
The sad thing here is that this was the case 2 years ago when MOS started to grow.
Back then, there was no future in a PPC OS from Amiga Inc at all. If Amiga Inc had
started the OS4.0 project by then, I am quite sure MOS would be in another shape that
would be much harder to claim illegal.
2 years ago, I saw MOS as the only continuation to AOS4.0, but now I don't really
know which direction to take simply because there are 2 working systems in the near
future to develop applications for. What if 50% of all active Amiga sw gets developed
for MOS and 50% for AOS4.0. Who is loosing then? Well as a user I would hate that
my 2 favourite programs doesn't run on the same OS any longer.
regards,
Stefan |
