AFUA visited Thendic-France : Comment 584 of 629 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Argo on 28-Apr-2002 15:31 GMT | In reply to Comment 493 (Ben Hermans/Hyperion): I think we have a problem of juristdiction. Who's laws apply where. Amiga, Inc. a US base corporation, MorphOS Group based in Germany(?), Hyperion, Inc. based in Belgium(?), H&P based in Germany. What laws from where apply? AmigaOS is owned by Amiga, Inc. a US company. Various versions of AmigaOS were created by companies in England, USA, Germany, and Belgium (does that even matter). Not to mention what the actual legal issue(s) involved might be. The legality of MorphOS (commercial version) as it relates to IP, anti-competative/parasidic marketing, and/or some other issues. |
