IIRC, in Terminal Velocity one could do 3D dogfight in a very fun way.
IMHO, a little bit like Turboraketti/Gravitywars in 3D & via TCP/IP.
On could snake between mountains trying to get the follower off from one's tail, dive into wormholes/tunnels/whatever, climb up into clouds, brake hard, let the follower go buy, FIRE!!!! and quickly dive down to destroy competitor's base...
