| Posted by gz on 16-May-2002 06:21 GMT | I would prefer running OS4 on a pegasos rather than MOS, but as it seems there won't be any cooperation between AI and Bplan... I guess I'll have to settle for MOS untill there will perhaps be AmigaOS for the pegasos sometime in the distant future.
It will be interesting to see the driver situation evolving on both OS's. OS4 only supports drivers from hyperion and MOS supports it's own range of agp cards so there might be some other cards to choose from.
After the race of who gets the OS out first is over, a race for wider selection of drivers will begin.
This proves that competition can be a good thing (only when it's healthy though, which it sometimes isn't on the amiga :( ) |
