Pegasos and Morphos on German TV 3Sat : Comment 38 of 272 | ANN.lu |
Posted by priest on 16-May-2002 10:48 GMT | In reply to Comment 37 (David Scheibler): I think you are right (untill proven otherwise), here's updated post:
Could someone post a comprehensive list of supported GFX cards on MOS?
How about the 3D acceleration then?
How are multimonitor configurations handled in MOS and in OS4?
This is what I know already about MOS (http://www.morphos.de/support.php3):
-Voodoo3 2000, 3000, 3500 (also 3D, but how well?)
-Voodoo4 4500, 5500 (2D only?)
-CyberVisionPPC, BlizzardVisionPPC (also 3D ?)
-CyberVision64/3D (also 3D ;))
-SiS 6326
-Most all CGX V4 (the list linked here contains the same cards as above + some very old ones)
This is what I know about OS4:
-Permedia 2 (also 3D)
-Permedia 3 (also 3D)
-Voodoo 3 (also 3D)
-Matrox G450/G550 (someday also G1000) (also 3D)
-ATI Radeon (series, not every card, though) (also 3D, someday also firewire)
-Most/all of older P96 supported cards. (CV64,CV64-3D,...) (not CVPPC,BVPPC)
And as far as I know multimonitor settings work somehow on both, but not in a very configurable/controlled way (screen not spread to two monitors, no virtualdesktop managers).
Again, information is desperately needed. ;) |
