Pegasos and Morphos on German TV 3Sat : Comment 7 of 272 | ANN.lu |
Posted by the man in the shadows on 15-May-2002 19:11 GMT | In reply to Comment 5 (Nichelle): With regard to cards with onboard FireWire... take a look at the ATI Radeon all-in-wonder card. While it has FireWire, the drivers don't exist yet that we know of so it may mean creating the drivers. Although, the ATI Radeon all-in-wonder may be your best bet it's not your only hope. The SBLive Platinum edition with the LiveDrive! has their version of IEEE1394. I'm almost (not quite but almost) certain that someone will rewrite the SBLive drivers to accomidate SBAudigy cards since they are very similar drivers on x86 platforms to start with. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do this, but nonetheless it's another avenue to look at.
Desperately wanting FireWire support for my ImageFX needs. 8^) |
