"This is a demo video of bPlan's Pegasos computer. The video has been created by Thendic-France to give an impression of how the machine runs."

the next ppc amiga : Comment 187 of 359 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 19-May-2002 23:40 GMT | In reply to Comment 181 (Darrin): >1. They are so Anti_Amiga Inc that they wouldn't urinate on them if they were on fire.
Good one!
>2. They are scared that a direct benchmark comparison between OS4 and MOS if run on
>the same hardware would show how inefficient MOS really is.
:-D
>3. They are not interested in making money. So expect them to fold as a company soon
>and leave all you Pegasos owners with no support/warantee.
Yes...Ralph is a commie, didn't you know?
>Hyperion then ordered such a board and publically announced their support of the Pegasos,
>but no dev-board was ever sent to Hyperion and then the propaganda war started again with
>the usual chemical warfare BS attack from bPlan and it's hired henchmen...
The relationship of tolerance between bplan and Hyperion became frostier again, when Ainc
developed their funny certification plan and Mr Hermans let publicly be known that they are
preparing legal actions against bplan...
On the other hand it's also not very clear if the projected 100-200 Pegasos devboards were
actually being built. |
