"This is a demo video of bPlan's Pegasos computer. The video has been created by Thendic-France to give an impression of how the machine runs."
the download is still in progress, but i'm sure it will finish to convince all amiga users thats the ppc amiga they are waiting since years is finally arrived

the next ppc amiga : Comment 330 of 359 | ANN.lu |

Surely nobody could've missed the "French Connection" ;), which is now mirrored at http://www.hesbynett.no/hagen/amiga1.html - It wasn't a *video,* true, but that's due to bandwidth constraints'n'such. Funny how none of Eyetech/Amiga/bPlan/MorphOS have seen fit to host any of this PR material themselves.
Things nobody else noted yet- looks like there's still no MorphOS driver for the onboard ethernet, given the PCI board installed. The AGP support looks to be up and running.
Also, there's some obvious evidence against the "only one running board" rumor; the working prototype shown at http://www.amigamesse.de/bplan/news.html has a different (proto?) dual layout (and dual RJ45s?), so there are at least *two* running boards. :)
Also, nice to see Fleecy around. The Amiga/MorphOS negotiations fell through, and that's old news by now... At this point, is it possible to get Amiga to publish some basic 'official' info on the legal proceedings- whether actions have been filed yet, which venue(s) the case(s) will be heard at, text of the complaint(s), etc? It'd put a nice end to the holistic rumormongering, and shift discussion (and rumormongering ;)) to the actual infringement claims. |
