i noticed a new video on aminet:

the download is still in progress, but i'm sure it will finish to convince all amiga users thats the ppc amiga they are waiting since years is finally arrived

And it is a lot simpler to embed than your garden variety IA-32 (which do come in embedded and/or low power versions as well, it's just not Intels primary concern). But the 8xxx chips all have a lot MORE embedded features than the 7xxx series. A LOT. Like PCI/RAM controllers onboard, etc. You don't need PCI in every embedded system, but it can be very nice to have it there... |
