"This is a demo video of bPlan's Pegasos computer. The video has been created by Thendic-France to give an impression of how the machine runs."

the next ppc amiga : Comment 65 of 359 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Ole-Egil Hvitmyren on 19-May-2002 16:35 GMT | In reply to Comment 60 (Rik Sweeney): 1 minute of dude plugging in cards and showing (very pedagogically, I might add) what all the inputs and outputs are for, 2 minutes of OpenFirmware, Workbench loads, MagicMenu is shown, Candyfactory Pro (If this isn't CandyOS, what is? LOL :) ) is loaded, showing some graphical effect in real time (while the narrator says something I'll forever be grateful he said: It's very fast, even if this is the low end G3 (Goes to show we DON'T need fast G4's in our machines, because we (either camp) don't run a CandyOS like MacOS X). Then there's the end credits and the horrible german rock-music :) |
