I uploaded on Aminet a video in Mpeg showing the AmigaOne booting
TurboLinux.
Hi,
This video is old (March 2002) and not professional in any way (in fact, it never meant to be).
I originally wanted to upload it on my website instead of putting this huge file on Aminet but my
ISP didn't allow me this. So here it is, to make Aminet even bigger !
Remember this AmigaOne is the prototype (G3/600Mhz) and it runs TurboLinux. And I must confess,
I never seen a Linux booting that fast. I'm excited to get my hand on AmigaOS4...
Thanks.
Elwood

AmigaOne Mpeg : Comment 44 of 85 | ANN.lu |
Posted by cOrpse on 02-Jun-2002 21:25 GMT | In reply to Comment 41 (Alkis Tsapanidis): No i think its all the real amiga people have had enough of you lot.
The most hypicritical bunch of arses on the known earth , Yeah we'll bitch Microsoft because of what they've produced in the past but if its amiga , on no we should just ignore it.
You can't deny that Morhpos pride themselves on being involved with this hardware , its on their site , and you can't deny that they didn't listen to us when we wanted a free choice of ppc kernel. Whats to say they've changed now? their telling dce not to support os 4 , sounds abit like the whole free choice issue again.
There again many of you people don't understand what it was to be part of the amiga thing and what these people stole from us , You'd rather hide behind talking head petro.
I suggest most of you go back to your kiddie linux groups and wank over some new harddrive controller.
BTw. I do have a bitch with eyetech , i got a shitty keyboard adaptor ... I'd bitch about that but it hasn't killed a few amiga's which could have happily been given away to expand the community. |
