I uploaded on Aminet a video in Mpeg showing the AmigaOne booting
TurboLinux.
Hi,
This video is old (March 2002) and not professional in any way (in fact, it never meant to be).
I originally wanted to upload it on my website instead of putting this huge file on Aminet but my
ISP didn't allow me this. So here it is, to make Aminet even bigger !
Remember this AmigaOne is the prototype (G3/600Mhz) and it runs TurboLinux. And I must confess,
I never seen a Linux booting that fast. I'm excited to get my hand on AmigaOS4...
Thanks.
Elwood

AmigaOne Mpeg : Comment 50 of 85 | ANN.lu |

>I suggest most of you go back to your kiddie linux groups and wank over some >new harddrive controller.
I suggest you to watch your mouth.
BTW, if Laire and CyFM didn't exist we wouldn't even have a proper RTG system
by now... No EGS was not a TRUE RTG system, you had to make EGS specific apps
to use 24bits for example. Even the original Picasso 2 software on which P96
is based is written by CyFM.
If P5 (including Laire) didn't exist, we wouldn't have PPCs, so no Hyperion games and no OS4 to develop now.
ALL the Amiga Companies supporting the classic Amiga and/or the OS did a MAJOR
mistake... They didn't leave 10 years ago... The Amiga "community" doesn't
appreciate anything... |
