"From: Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck. We would like to announce that the next scheduled production of the Pegasos has been sold out. Bill, you said your main focus is on developing your handheld PDA/communication device. My main interest is in a MorphOS/Pegasos desktop computer. Do you see these "mini-pegasoses" "docking" on the desktop computer? Wireless syncing or something? Do you think that would be a good plan?
You have said in past posts you tried to work with Amiga Inc. and Hyperion. This will be taken as a flame by some but I don't see what they bring to the equation. The hardware and the software are already covered. Amiga Inc. brings a trademark that may actually be damaging outside the community. I mean that Amiga users are regarded as backwards nerds by many Windows, Mac, and Linux users (note: I personally disagree with that view). But my point is that this trademark is simply not likely to assist in getting new customers. It is more about the past. So my question: do you see any value in collaboration with Inc. at this point, or are we set to go with what we have? Do you see potential brand value in MorphOS and Pegasos trademarks?
In your recent post you recalled the great history of Wozniak and Jobs making history putting together the first Apple computers. In this age where we are saturated with Windows computers is it possible to somehow recreate that success? Can we bring something creative and new and worthwhile to the market and be successful? Do you see yourself in this maverick rebel role, or is it your intention to form "strategic partnerships" and "corporate alliances" with big corporations ASAP?
That is it for me! Thank you for speaking to the public recently! |
