Next Pegasos production sold out : Comment 83 of 280 | ANN.lu |
Posted by gz on 08-Jun-2002 10:34 GMT | In reply to Comment 82 (cOrpse): "And BTW: we NEVER got the Cyberstorm PPC "sources".
What we got were some rather useless pages (2 or 3) describing the Cyberstorm's registers, something even H&P seemed to have had for ages.
All work on the Cyberstorm PPC was done using the BSD and LinuxAPUS source-code."
"I for one feel a bit lied to now (Not by ben btw) , are we going to slip down the drity lies path again or can everone that matters just put their cards on table and stop feeding the situation with half truths"
I still don't believe it but... I actually agree with cOrpse on this one. It just seems to me that for some odd reason ben hermans (who I have always admired for the work hyperion has done in the past and is doing now) has chosen to flame bill's post with something that to me seems like half truth (or at least not as the whole truth) Of course that's only the way it seems to me personally, but I think it's a bad move going down the war path once again.
I agree with bill and cOrpse that we should try to keep things clean and not start to throw up things and events that have taken place between 2 companies as there is no way for us peeps to verify what is true and what's not. It's ethically questionable to do such accusations in a public forum as the only reasonable place for that is either in a court room or indeed between the companies involved.
Mr.Hermans seems to take this personally and that's never a good thing when trying to remain unbiased. |
