Subject: AMIOPEN: Gary hospitalized
Gary suffered a heart attack over the weekend but is now back at home and on the way to a full recovery. He is following doctors orders to get plenty of rest and stay away from email.
He has asked me to thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and for your best wishes. He hopes to be back on email towards the end of the week.

Looking at what you posted, this made me wonder if you can smeel the hypocrisy in your words.
>I'm not shedding any tears over Gary's hospital trip.
Sadly, maturity is becoming harder to find among waht's left of the hard core Amiga users.
>I remember him from Fidonet Amiga days. He was one of the moderators of the >channel. He often dealt with a heavy hand and seemed to get a real hard on at >the prospect of exercising power over someone else.
Ahh, so you're upset becasue he was a moderator of a fido channel that you were probably trying to disrupt?
Sorry, but even sworn enemies do not wish each other to have aheart attacks or health problems, nor be cruel like this.
You deserve no repsect when you act like this.
>It's not a surprise that he wanted to move into a greater role with Amiga Inc.
>For everyone who's getting their panties in a knot over anyone who flames >Peakie, What has Gary ever done for the Amiga community other than hang out in >message rooms and power trip? Answer: Nothing.
This proves that you are unfamiliar with Gary, a person that you are tryin hard to defame.
Gary dedicated himself and his personal resources to support Amiga developers, users, and businesses for years.
What have YOU done to support the Amiga in its dark ages?
My guess is NOTHING. |
