AwebPPC released : Comment 131 of 221 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Raffaele on 17-Jun-2002 11:36 GMT | All I can see about the Samface question is:
Samface Msg. 2:
> How about an *Amiga* PPC version? You know, a version you can run on AmigaOS...
Olsen Msg. 5
> I knew I should have added a part to the details about Samface having
> to skip this newsitem, sigh...
[...]
> Yes, that's right, because of my MorphOS port,
> you could have an easier time attempting
> (you probably won't even start an attempt, but anyway) to make
> a PowerUP or WarpOS veresion.
> So quit whining and do something about it yourself.
At this moment Samface only made a question to such good programmers, and you can read it as:
«Hey, have you some planning about porting AWEB PPC to Amiga with PPC card and Amiga OS standard?»
or
«Hey, you are good... how about... (etc., etc.)»
But in answer to Samface, Mr. Olsen moans about the presence of Samface.
Then again Olsen:
> You do one. I have found all the places which need to be changed for PPC.
> They weren't few or easy to find all of them.
Seems he want to show us such a good coder he is, in finding certain sequences of code...
but finally Olsen attacks Samface with no reason:
Olsen:
> On the other hand, if you started thinking for a moment
> (yes, I know that must be *very* hard for you),
> you would figure out that a PowerUP/WarpOS version would make
> no sense at all.
This is an arse attack and it is enough for me to stay with Samface...
Despite the fact he could troll in other threads, it seems to me he made only a decent and honest hypotetical question...
You Olsen maybe are a good coder, but you have certainly to learn how to deal with the remaining part of the mankind, honestly man, and with no attacks against you...
Bye,
