In reply to Comment 16 (Seehund):
Seehund, you really don't get it do you? Amiga isn't preventing anyone from licensing the OS from them. It is the licensing agreement that has your shorts/knickers in a knot. I'd like to see more hardware capable of running the OS, but under the appropriate licensing agreement. You must be able to see that releasing the OS for use on many POP boards hurts one or more of Amiga's closest partners (Eyetech, possibly Elbox). Amiga and Hyperion would do well in selling more copies of the OS, but the one or two companies that have supplied hardware would put in an unfair situation considering they've done a lot in getting us new hardware. This is fundamentally why I think you should shove that ideological petition of yours in your backside orifice. We've only lost one option as far as POP boards are concerned. When the AmigaOneXE materializes, the Pegasos will truly be a moot point. I'd suggest you take that focused energy of yours and lobby an organization that would be willing to support the Pegasos or whatever POP board you would like to see run OS 4.0 under an appropriate licensed arrangement.
If you're petition signatories put their money where their mouth is, they should be willing to support the licensing of the bPlan board. My support for the AmigaOne with OS4.0 is crystal clear. Stop standing behind the touch-feely petition for a minute and tell ANN which solution you support. I do not believe your apparent non-partisan stand.
