And the total is.. 940. Not bad.
"Countdown to the draw: The promotion has ended. Coupon count may still rise as third party dealers submit their sales. Winners will be announced soon."
.. So, we could well make the 1000 mark, well done people, I hope you all order AmigaOnes as soon as they are available :)

The "I Am Amiga" promotion has ended! : Comment 105 of 134 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 27-Jul-2002 16:39 GMT | In reply to Comment 98 (Don Cox): Perhaps you could explain (by contrast) what is unique about Public Screens and ARexx ?
I'm thinking that the appropriate things to contrast with Public Screens would be Unix virtual consoles, X virtual desktops (and their equivalents on more modern windowing systems), and the switch-user feature in Home versions of Windows XP
With ARexx I guess the things to contrast would be Applescript and Windows Scripting Host - in both cases the language is "pluggable" but you can discuss the default languages if that's appropriate (there are analogous features on Unix systems but none of them are suitably universal) |
