Sendo device to feature Amiga Anywhere content : Comment 41 of 50 | ANN.lu |
Posted by gz on 30-Jul-2002 17:45 GMT | In reply to Comment 40 (anonymous): >>There are just legions of wankers hiding in the trenches waiting to jump out >>and enlighten the masses on how everything that happens has an underlying current of doom.
First of all, there are likewise as many "wankers" out there that sees everything coming from amiga inc as a good sign no matter what it would be. So it's a bit fifty fifty (I don't mean you here)
Secondly, why do you think there are "legions of wankers" who don't see everything as rosy as some do? There might be a reason for it. Somehow I don't think the community has split into two main groups (pro Ainc and opposing) by accident. A rough half of people must have been disappointed by the way things have been conducted. These are people who have been using their miggys just as long and as faithfully as others and have shared and most still do (hence the unhappiness) hopes of even a small revival of the amiga platform.
They may not have any influence over the matter as AI owns the IP, but they have the right as paying customers and as supporters who have poured insane amounts of money into outdated custom hardware, to say their opinion on a public forum just as anyone who sees things differently. |
