In reply to Comment 32 (smithy):
"Well, for Linux lovers, looking at an AmigaOne would be ideal. However, I'm not a Linux lover, in fact, as some in the AROS camp would testify - I've had nothing but problems with it."
Theres an AROS camp ? Holy crap ... nothing against AROS , i just didn't think there was a cr3w ! , probaly full on the same x86 whingers no doubt.
"I'd like to visit the French show because I am consider myself an dispossed Amigan (along with the thousands of other Amigans that have been left out in the cold because of Amiga Inc's plans, and forced into MOS or AROS), and because I've never been to France and September is always a pleasant time of year (weather wise)."
Dispossed Amigans ? Is that your excuse for not ever being part of the amiga community and if you ever did own an amiga pirating all the software and never upgrading so software developers could advance ?
And by left out in the cold you mean PPC , and let me tell you now that wasn't amiga inc's idea or even cbm's ( HP Risc IIRC ) ... The PPC idea was thanks to the boys at Phase 5 and because the only modern-ish software we have now is PPC ( thanks to people like hyperion ) and theres no PPC emulator on X86 we're kinda stuck to it. Amiga's plan suites people like you down to the ground , you can't decide what to support , soo anti PPC yet you support a PPC motherboard + OS just because its the *other side* , Amiga's idea is that it doesn't matter what CPU , hardware etc it is ... Perfect for those with the lastest *rebel* buzz word support attitude.
