I've tried the G-Rex, and IMO it was crap. DMA didn't work (probably because of me having a "wrong" revision Blizzard PPC), it didn't fit with my FastATA controller (PowerFlyer), and it's software wasn't so good.
The increased busspeed had very little impact on the speed in 3D-apps too (compared to the Mediator). |
