Morphos claims to be ready for legal action : Comment 77 of 155 | ANN.lu |

It would be nice to know where an OS is heading when you decide to switch to a new platform, can you understand that?
>It seems that you are more an "Amiga Fan" rather than an "Amiga's way of >thinking Fan".
The amiga way of thinking?? Geezs...what next? The amiga way of living? That's a nice slogan by the way: Amiga, a way of living.
What's more to the amiga way of thinking then continuing the road that initially stopped at OS3.x?
>If you consider yourself as an "Amiga's way of thinking Fan",
>you shouldn't get rid of MorphOS so early because it really worths
I don't spend my time on philosophizing wether i'm thinking like the original Lorraine designer, Jay Miner, intended an Amiga user to do or not.
What I want is a PPC version the ORIGINAL AmigaOS with some nice and usefull enhancement. Not a totally new OS with a goal to be to a certain extend compatible with the old RTG apps. No matter what cool features that OS might have. What preserves the "old" look, feel and thoughts better then the original?
>(And moreover there's nothing more for the moment except a so-called Amiga >OS4)...
That's the funny thing about a roadmap. You state in there what you will produce in the future. There no use of AmigaOS4 when you've got OS5 ready don't you think? |
