Amiga Inc Exec Sept 02 Update : Comment 63 of 91 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Donovan Reeve on 07-Sep-2002 18:31 GMT | In reply to Comment 50 (Anonymous): Yes, I can tell you where all those announced products of companies Amiga, Inc.
hoped to partner with. They were all killed by those other companies who
changed their plans due to economic and market problems, whether Amiga, Inc.
liked it or not. Amiga, Inc. could do nothing about it, the plans were changed
by the partners.
What I can't tell you is what on earth YOU have done to help the Amiga
market or community. Nothing, as far as I know. So maybe you should take
your own advice and shut-up if you can't do or say anything constructive.
Amiga, Inc. have invested their shirts in an obtuse, complaining and un-
greatful market, and are trying desperately to come up with something good
and make a living before they go broke. Those who payed $50.00 to join Amiga's
club (which I haven't but I think I will now) are trying to help get something
that the want to get going. Those who are unwilling to invest ANYTHING in
the future of Amiga, including any understanding or even civility, can just
shut up and get lost as far as I care. Wouldn't YOU want to make money
from something you had invested everything in? As for Bill's optimism,
what's wrong with that, people. Do you expect him to sh*t on his own
products and chances of success? Boy, are you ever stupid.
Actually, I have come to recognise that most of the detractors in this
forum are just raising cane to promote their own agendas and actually have
no interest in seeing Amiga OR the Amiga line continue at all unless it is
exactly what the want it to be. HAH!!! What commercial company on earth
pays any attention to people with that attitude. NONE! Why don't you-all
go try your methode on some large corporations and see how far you get.
At best you would get a polite letter saying they were sorry you were
displeased but they could do nothing for you. Most likely you would get
ignored.
Amiga Inc. listens better than most companies, but like the rest they have
to try to figure things so as to make a profit or it is all useless.
Fortunatly, the few malcontents on this forum are not typical of the
average Amigan, who just want to use their computers and get no fun from
fighting and flaming.
