Well I suppose that if you sit on a beefy top-of-the-line PC, 600MHz POP doesn't seem all that impressive. But for someone that actually HAS (only?)an A4000/060@50MHz, the AOne would cerainly be a worthy heir. I bought my first Linux PC a month ago and that one is a lowly 450MHz, so go figure. It's all in the eyes of the beholder.
I still concur my previous points (along with many others in this thread), namely that you would be better off finding way of conducting an argument better than insulting people and calling names.
You will never hear me slander MOS, because I have never owned a PPC and never got a chance to try the beta. Furthermore I haven't heard all that much about it's features. I'm simply not in any position to comment on that, but will observe it as it progresses. In the meantime, I follow the development of the official successor to my favourite computer - it's that simple. No blindfolds, no falling on my knees everytime an executive update come around. In fact, I suspect that even if I did, i would be rather alone there on the temple floor. Amigans - and people in general - are more farsighted than you give them credit for. In the end it's only(simply) a matter of how much you wan't to indulge your hobby.
