If they would have had brown shit on them, sure, some would like them, but not most people. What makes a good design? Something that catches the minds of the present people. There is a whole science for these things, why do you think we have design schools. Saying that something is in the eye of the beholder is just another way to wash away an argument.
2. The MorphOS screenshots looks bad because the "blobs" are not antialiased. It makes all the difference, like a KDE desktop without alphablending and antialiased fonts and one with. If the morphos guys would alphablend and antialize their icons/fonts, it would look great like hell. |
