Report from USA Demo of Pegasos, MorphOS : Comment 101 of 116 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 16-Oct-2002 18:05 GMT | In reply to Comment 98 (Anonymous): > As of October 14th, you can purchase Pegasos Betatester II which does not

So as I said they did require an nda too, so they did use the same practice. I did also already mention a simple reason why it is used with AmigaDE development. A small detail is btw that Tao requires that nda too.
And in which year are you living? "sold the SDK in 2000" + "didnt ... years to come".
Morphos is an OS whithout anything special and the details will be publically known as soon as its released, so ofcourse there is no need for a further nda.

It was never said that the updates would be available without a nda either. Fact is there are updates. And no, as i _again_ already said, the updates do not require a sda.
>>So far the SDK and DE are equivalent, therfor its plain stupid that SDK

So? And i certainly didnt "blast" anyone.
> This was supposed to be addressed a long time ago,
I dont think so.
> but here we are still, almost a year after the first release of the player.
> No wonder if some people with the SDK feel a little disappointed.
You can feel disappointed all you want as long as you dont twist facts.
> This also remains the strongest weakness of this "write once, run anywhere"

So? Its a product in development. Facts is, it is here and is growing.
> Please, tell me, where is the Anywhere in this?
"Anywhere" it is intended to run?
> Ah nevermind, I'll go download and play Java games on my mobile phone.
No problem with me - there are Windows users too, you know.
>> The last thing i heard was that even the 1000$ purchase of a betatester
>> required you to be under nda
> Again, Betatester II is available now without an NDA.
I didnt write "II" and betatester I was not. Blaming someone for using a nda while doing the same is ridiculus. |
