Report from USA Demo of Pegasos, MorphOS : Comment 97 of 116 | ANN.lu |

>i mean Phase5/ - gave us amiga ppc cards allowing the market to survive.
They also took very long to do waranty repairs on defective cards the last couple years, with some people never getting them back. They also collected buttloads of preorder money for PPC-NG products knowing they were going under and never even started the project. They just took the money and ran. Even worse as a safety valve umbrella from creditors they gave their equipment to DCE so that when they reappeared as bPlan their debt was bye bye and they still own their equipment. Too F'ing bad to people they robbed.
>DCE - bought phase5 assets and kept the produciton of ppc cards running
Yup and they churned out one defective card after another. When people returned them for waranty repairs, they never saw them again years l8r.
>Viscorp - paid the salaries of amiga int staff when escom went into bankruptcy
Viscorp's mishandling of Amiga is well documented. Viscorp was the WORST company of all as owner, and they never even officially owned it. Viscorp flooded the community and press with lie after lie while slowly burying the platform more and more. They also drove off most amiga notables like Jason Compton. Another failed company with same leadership under a new name. Shoot they should have just named themselves ViscorpNG.
>but i guess in your mind they are evil and deserve to be destroyed right//.?
Nope, I simply will not be fool enough not to see through their lies as it mirrors the past. But, too each his own. |
