The first DivX from WoA2002 Online!
The first DivX is online! you can get it here on my site. This file will be online for about 8 hours, after that i'll remove the download (i have very limited traffic), please set up a mirror somewhere :) Sorry for the shaky image, but it's the first time i filmed something like this, and also, the image quality isn't what i'd hoped, however, i'll improve on this situation asap. (consider this V1.0 ^_^)

First DivX from WoA2002! : Comment 36 of 128 | ANN.lu |

Eh... that's almost funny, 'cause I all but a GPL fanatic... I'm much more in favour of licenses like LGPL, BSD or the AROS' APL.
As I told Sebastian privately, I was in complete good faith when I asked my questions about the GPL status of Frogger, and I know he was too, when he used GPL'd code in Frogger... he just didn't pay close attention to the implications of what he was doing.
In a way I'm sorry if this cause him troubles, also because I'm not the evil GPL guardian, but on the other hand I know I didn't do anything bad, rather I just pointed out some things that needed to be fixed.
However, I think you'll see nice improvements in Frogger during the next weeks, and I hope you'll still want to give Sebastian the credit he deserves for having brought to AmigaOS a decent (although non very stable ;) video player, even by buying his product, because GPL doesn't mean "gratis" (for whoever understands that word), it means "free" as in "freedom". |
