Letting the World Know : Comment 100 of 216 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Trizt on 20-Nov-2002 13:41 GMT | In reply to Comment 82 (mahen): I think we would have needed a such organisation already before the PowerUP/WartUP split, as thast wehere I think the bad things started.
I think it would be quite difficult tha have an organisation that gives out guidelines, as soon as one of the sides has accepted, the other side will work against it. Thats the sad feeling I have of the climate between the Amiga companies.
What is needed would be really objective Amiga users, and I don't think there are any left today, for all have more or less choosen their sides, usually one of the following AmigaOS4, Amithlon, MorphOS or WinUAE. IMHO two of those has been one reason why it's gone so badly with the hardware development for classic Amigas.
I hope there will be a light in the end of the tunnel and that I could see all the ol' Amigans on the other end, but I fear I will only see a handful of them. |
