On the Amiga Website you'll find a joint communicate from Amiga, Hyperion and Eyetech.
November 19, 2002 - With the AmigaOne now shipping and AmigaOS4.0 in its final stages of development and testing, the time has come to begin letting the rest of the world know the good news, that the Amiga is alive, well and ready to let the World have fun with computing again.

The real CPU war is now IA-64 vs X86-64. Now if MorphOS branches to x86, then there would be more interest to the alternative OS folks who use to use Amigas. It's either custom chip based platform that is cheaper/faster/better then x86 or a elegant OS running on cheap modern (and existing) hardware that will bring the old school Amiga folks back. This is the reason why I think AROS is the way to go...
