Letting the World Know : Comment 61 of 216 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Ben Hermans/Hyperion on 20-Nov-2002 11:39 GMT | Let me make some things clear here:
1. It's NOT because OS 4.0 for the A1 will be launched at the CeBit that this means that it won't be finished beforehand (especially the Cyberstorm version).
This is in fact clearly articulated in the press-release.
2. We are working hard to get OS 4.0 finished asap. We don't have the time to organise a comprehensive presence at the show in Aachen.
We were present at the WOASE which was a 5 hour show and that already took up far too much of our time.
OS 4.0 development for the Cyberstorm PPC is now in its final stages with testing and localisation underway.
I still need to organise matters such as CD production, production of packaging and cover-art.
Plus there are some important deals pending for OS 4.0 which need to be negotiated to a close.
This all takes time.
We are working hard on implementing the devices for the A1 and we would like to finish this work asap rather than waste precious time showing more work in progress.
If our schedule allows it, we may do a presentation of OS 4.0 (rather than set up a booth for two days) but that's all we have time for I'm afraid. |
