According to Irmen de Jong, the AmigaPython website maintainer, the Python programming language may be included as standard with AmigaOS 4.0.

From the AmigaPython site:

UPDATE november 2002: from very reliable sources I know that AmigaPython might become part of the new Amiga OS 4.0 ! What AREXX was for AmigaDOS 2.x and 3.x, AmigaPython might be for the next generation of Amiga OS (and much more powerful of course)

Further information about Python is available at the Python Home Page.

How about:
ADDRESS ExecSG
NewExecCommand 1,1,1
EXIT
Or some thing similar
Just make an AREXX port distributed by the OS,
to interface with AREXX, and allow the EXECSG
kernel taking care of new API stuff after all is
AREXX extendable structure by allowing the
program it interface with, to have unique commands,
Okey it don’t make AREXX 68k more
memory protection friendly, butt it allows you to do really
advanced OS stuff with in AREXX.
@ALL DEVLOPERS
Please when any on ports an language do not make the mistake like ms do,
By allowing routines overwrite it own functions, or allowing it to execute variable space,
Virtual basic scripts allows. Viruses and worms are known to hide it code by encrypt it.
@JON
I hate having an type of an registry clone where
system data like email@server.com is stored allowing
viruses miss use it and spam all your friends type of
system like MS-Windows* do. And I hate the system where,
you can add programs in the run feels in an registry,
Place do not F**K up the OS, keep it clean.
