We're proud to present you the new AmithlonTV. For all those out there who never heard about AmithlonTV here is a small sumery: The original AmithlonTV was made by Michael Ulbrich in the beginning 2002. Due a lack of time I took over his project and started a complete new AmithlonTV in June 2002. In the beginnig of November the hardest part was done. Well, now at the end of November I came to a point, where I need more information about the cards out there. So here it is: The new AmithlonTV! We're proud to present you the new AmithlonTV. For all those out there who never heard about AmithlonTV here is a small sumery:

The original AmithlonTV was made by Michael Ulbrich in the beginning 2002. Due a lack of time I took over his project and started a complete new AmithlonTV in June 2002. In the beginnig of November the hardest part was done.

Well, now at the end of November I came to a point, where I need more information about the cards out there. So here it is: The new AmithlonTV!

I made AmithlonTV for you, so I need your help to support all the card out there. My personal card is already full supported! Your job, if you take em, is to test AmithlonTV with an TV card available and send me debug information. I need detailed information on the used card (Name, Vendor, internal and external connectors ...) and the used chips on the card. It's also required to send in the "AmithlonTV/Libs/TVCard_CardData/Autoconfig.card" file which will be created when running the tool TVCardSetup. When you 're able to use Windows it would be very helpful if you could start "btspy" to create a setup logfile, which is also available on the AmithlonTV homepage within the Support/Download section.

On the AmithlonTV homepage you can also find a hardware list containing all tested cards. With your help this list will grow rapidly within the next weeks. 99% of the listed cards should at least deliver a picture on all available video inputs.

There is also a new mailinglist "AmithlonTV" for AmithlonTV specific discussion available on our homepage.

In reply to Comment 48 (Christoph Gutjahr):
> User 80.130.14.170 (the one posting all the OT-bullshit) is "GALAXY", the guy
> who complained that his posts get censored a few days ago. He's just a troll,
> could you guys please ignore him?
Yes right,
The guy with the IP 80.130.14.170 is me oGALAXYo. I never made a secret out of it since I posted at the same time on www.amiga-news.de with nearly the same content in an ON TOPIC thread. It was just a matter of time to discover this. But it was interesting to see how people react on something if you don't post some known nicks.
Again, my initial reply was meant for comment #1, where I was curious why people intend to go for the buggy AmigaONE. It should have stayed for this only comment since I care less for AmigaONE and the stupid faulty promises of AmigaINC. But no, some people are getting heavily agressive if their so holy piece of faked Hardware gets kissed on the ass.
Now to clean up some facts here (and please I want to have this message to be the last one typed here in this Thread). Oh jesus, I think people don't get it anyways!
First of all, the only mistake that I may need to listen to is the fact that my reply was more or less offtopic in this thread. But there wasn't any bad intentions from my side in first case since there are so many other OT replies in other threads that no one really gave a damn about.
Some people are EXPERTS in turning true facts into some total out of context crap like Mr. Christoph Gutjahr in #48. I didn't trolled nor did I complained that 'MY' posts got deleted. It was actually a complete different new thread where I was curious why the 'Elbox' thread got 26 Messages from various people deleted in one row (Twentysix Mails).
Going over to the next point. It's yet still entertaining to see how people are hyping the AmigaONE even if they get directed to known problems and issues that are known with other Hardware too and *YET STILL* they are changing the facts to suit their own little vision of a correct Amiga World.
Look what people here and on other Newspages are still replying a lot of speculations, a lot of rumours and a lot of fakes. Even here on this Thread some 'experts' are replying stuff which is badly untrue. It was told to them to google for the problems but still yet they are unable or not willing to find the proof outside because of their own little correct Amiga World that they don't want to pop like soap bubbles.
Fact is that we all agree with. The ArticiaS chip had a problem that got fixed. END. I never talked about the ArticiaS chip previously.
I was mostly refering why AmigaONE has that buggy VIA 82C686B on the board. You can read on all places what issues this VIA causes and I don't hide to speak about it. This VIA is *BROKEN* it is not the Soundblaster Live that is broken and caused all issues it's simply the VIA and nothing else but the VIA. You can try to turn the facts to whatever you like e.g. Softwarefixed, Hardware doesn't pull so much data, I use a PC and never had any issues... blah blah blah'. At the end it doesn't fix the BROKEN VIA. I don't sit here at home and wait until the AmigaONE will cause the error or not or listen to people that want to make me belive something else. I know (because I took the time to read about it) that this VIA is broken. This is reason for me to NOT buy HARDWARE with that CHIP. Sure, I can't proove that the AmigaONE will cause these problems but you can't proove either if it does not happen one day and for me this is highly insecure. It would have been nice from Eyetech if they would replace that CHIP with another one so even remaining worries of end customers could be nailed down.
Ok I think I cleared up my personal statement here. I don't like my name being turned into crap by some wannabe people. So far be it - If you still can't belive the true facts then I can't help you either!
