"It saddens me greatly to announce that, effective today, any of my Amiga-related software development has been mothballed indefinitely. This means that, pending any unexpected developments, there won't be any "Amithlon v2" (aka "Berniethlon"), nor any further support or add ons for "Amithlon v1" by me."

Posted by Brad Ray on 01-Dec-2002 21:54 GMT | [quote]As Haage&Partner and me has many often said, AmigaOS XL and
Amithlon are full valid licenced products. The people who has
another *meaning* about this are free to take any needed legal
action to proove us wrong.
As long not you or any other has any rights in ip ownership
infringed by our product, it would be friendly enough and nice
to not spread more of this McEwen/Meyer/Hogget FUD around.
Currently there are no ip rights violated and there is also no
court decission made about such, that are the facts, not more
and not less. Thats how the law works and not otherwise.

Yeah...
That's they way to do it.
Make it to where nobody can prove it, and then you steal it.
Nobody has the kind of money to take this to court.
Amiga Inc. nor Bernie.
No, it's going to be fine.
You are only hurting yourself Haage and Partner, and anyone else who has thier greedy little fingers in the pie.
Sure hope the Germans continue to back you Haage and Partner, because as far as I am concerned here in America, You have crossed the line.
You will never see a dime come out of my pocket.
The best thing you can do, right now, is turn this situation around before it is too late.
You go talk to Bernie and Amiga Inc. and turn from this path that you are walking on. |
