The AROS logotype (I'd assumed that was just a placeholder... ugh) doesn't obey rule zero either. To have any distinguishing features at all it needs to be reproduced in color or it will look like it was drawn in MS Paint. Be Inc. made this exact same mistake (their BeOS and related logos were identifiable only when shown in color)
Still, it's all just marketing, and you'd no doubt be happy to attract as much attention as even OpenBeOS, which is currently trying to rename itself "Menlo" or "Auros" or "Firebox" or some other similar stupid thing. |
