The GoldED-based C/C++ IDE for gcc, vbcc, StormC3 and other compilers has been updated. The latest addition to the Integrated C/C++ Development Environment is clickable output during 'make': Compiler outputs appears in a resizable container (view screenshot). If you click on a file name, the source code is loaded and the cursor is positioned in the erroneous line.

Not really. These products are targeted at different needs. GoldED is an editor with, among other things, a gcc-based C/C++ IDE, and StormC is a C/C++ package with an editor. If your primary focus is a good compiler package, I recommend to get StormC4. Or both if you can afford it, they should work well together (I haven't used StormC4 personally but integration with StormC3 is fairly tight). StormC4 appears to be a nice product and is currently available at an incredibly low price. The main advantage of StormC is that the C/C++ part is stronger than the free compilers included on the GoldED CD (gcc and Volker's/Frank's vbcc). For example, you get a debugger, CVS and a graphical make tool (if anybody out there has had any luck with the geek gadgets debugger or other Amiga debuggers in conjunction with gcc, I'd be very happy to hear about it).
