Amiga-News.de interviewing Ben Hermans : Comment 51 of 86 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Gregg on 20-Feb-2003 18:50 GMT | In reply to Comment 45 (TimeWillTell): What a topsy-turvy world you live in!
"QNX has no legacy and no path to the future because of it."
Not sure what this means, but "no path to the future" is a very questionable conclusion from any basis.
"We can only be glad that they underestimated the size of the project..."
Impressive mental gymnastics! Might it not be better, even in the real world, for a realistic estimate, and then the task undertaken by a group capable of delivering to that estimate? Who? Well, we don't know because Hyperion putting themselves forward stopped anybody else being involved.
"Bill Mc tried to work with Ralph and was told NO thankyou very emphatically."
Poor dear honest straight-spoken Bill Mc - he tried so hard, was so generous, but Ralph just wouldn't play, would he? Naughty Ralph!
"MOS cannot break through without the Amiga name there just isn't enough to reccommend it to the world."
Would your perspective change if MOS _were_ to have the "Amiga name"?
"But then again only TimeWillTell".
Yerrsss.... Just how much time, though? Just a rough estimate, off the top of your head, no commitment...
