Amiga-News.de interviewing Ben Hermans : Comment 54 of 86 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Turrican on 20-Feb-2003 19:20 GMT | In reply to Comment 45 (TimeWillTell): >MOS,
with all of its' years of development is still VERY buggy.
Come on! You know that is a terrible lie!
After all MorphOS was made from scratch AND based on a LOT BETTER technology than AmigaOS will ever be. I strongly believe that after AOS 4 is out and with the more time it passes MOS will show its strengths...
>MOS cannot break through
without the Amiga name there just isn't enough to reccommend it to the world.
I think you are totally wrong on this...
Genesi are making a very nice job prommoting their Pegasos/MorphOS platform in a varius ways.
And don't think that the "Amiga" name is gonna be any better for the "outside world" too (maybe for some die hard Amigans...).
I would say that both platforms nearly start from zero in the "outside world" (AmigaOS in a slightly better brand position) today, but tommorow I see a MorphOS take over more than probable.
But ofcourse Time Will Tell ;) |
