I don't think that is an accurate characterization. I don't recall anyone
saying that. Sometimes your statements are ridiculed, but not in a mean-
spirited way. Few have time to be mean-spirited about you.

Okay, thanks for clarifying. Very interesting. You suggest here that the
OS 3.5 and 3.9 upgrades contained two types of data: new (and refined)
functionality integral to the OS, and bundled third party software. You
state that you have replaced all of the first, which I assume means
Hyperion programmers recreated the work of H&P. And then, with respect to
the second, you state that you went to the third party contributors and
negotiated new deals.
The reason this is important is because if 3.5 and 3.9 were meaningful
upgrades, one couldn't just blow them off and base 4.0 on 3.1. |
