What was in the Kickstart ROM in real Amigas is now divided into two parts: the boot code is OS-neutral and mostly concerned with direct hardware control, while other code that is AmigaOS specific will be with the rest of the OS and will not run when you boot into Linux (or other OSes in the future). |
