This is not MorphOS. What you quote is the Firmware. Have you ever seen a grandma who understand everything in a BIOS/Firmware? I don't think so :)
Btw with auto-boot enabled, nobody have to take care of the firmware. ONly power users who are interested to it will. Just like on Mac (you can get the firmware here by pressing Apple + Alt + O + F. He working very similarly to the Pegasos OpenFirmware (because they both share the same standard) ) or PC (usually you get the BIOS setup by pressing Del here.)
