MorphZone: International Forums opened : Comment 32 of 37 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Targhan on 04-Apr-2003 21:59 GMT | In reply to Comment 25 (MarkTime): Well, it's not as simple as "just allowing it." However, I believe
that multiple languages should be supported if it can be done. My
decision to support multiple languages was 100% based on the people
willing to moderate the forums in those languages. Some websites
don't have moderators they can trust to handle the extra load created
by supporting more languages.
I've already realized the #1 problem with international forums
support, and that problem is topic is english--rest of the post is in
another language. I'm working on fixing that, but in the meantime--it
is a problem.
Thanks to everyone offering kind words and support.
Don't worry about the flamers, their logic doesn't hold water. If
MorphOS/Amithlon is killing the Amiga market--then AmigaForever/UAE is
the antichrist--and we all know that GoldED has been developed on
UAE for years. If the flamer logic is true, then GoldED doesn't
exist, and GoldED hasn't enabled more people to continue to use their
Amigas!
