New Amiga CEO : Comment 191 of 254 | ANN.lu |
Posted by MarkTime on 27-Apr-2003 16:07 GMT | In reply to Comment 181 (takemehomegrandma): @takemehome,
I think he just means to play word games.
Obviously, if someone invested in the company, they purchased
some kind of share/ownership/control/and/or stake in the outcome of the company.
People don't usually just give money to technology companies for no reason.
I just wanted to AGREE with your post again, because during these types of discussions...I don't think those jumping in to play word games are helpful.
I know one thing, if Amiga, Inc. does have a new CEO, then it doesn't bode well at all, that he is definately in the anti-open communication camp...not even bothering to announce his own involvement in the company is a severe lack of communication...something a natural communicator would never do.
I hope that isn't the case, but if it is...well, you have to 'think different' to steal apple's phrase, to work successfully in this alternative space...if he doesn't then he probably won't be interested in this space either.
All mere speculation, but we know Bill Buck thinks differently,...communicates to a fault... even if he's a psycho at times. He is at least operating in this universe, a new CEO might not be.....
Personally I think a new CEO at Amiga, Inc. was very necessary, but its still a gamble...the new CEO could be even more hostile or indifferent (same thing) to this community. |
