Virtual Works, Soft 3 and Bitplane magazine are demoing Amiga One and Amiga OS 4 beta (68k) at the Webb.it show in Padua (Italy)
An Amiga One XE G3 800Mhz with Debian Linux PPC and an Amiga 4000 with Os 4.0 beta are present and running at the booth of Virtual Works, Soft 3 and Bitplane. Also an ipaq with Amiga Anywhere is present and the last issue of Bitplane magazine is available. Attenders seems very interested about the Amiga One and the OS 4. Tomorrow Elena Novaretti will show her own Pegasos running MorphOS.
We will release more info about the show progress (it will last until sunday) tomorrow.

Posted by Jerry Gibbons on 09-May-2003 17:07 GMT | Mega dittos about:
"I dont have any problem with OS4 only being 68k :)
Is there any reason whatsoever not to release those parts of OS4 that exists as 68k anyways, as an upgrade for 68k amiga? Personally I'd like that very much, as I have many machines that wont have any PPC inside anyhow. And I wouldnt mind paying for it either."
Make us a "Boing Bag"!!!
And I don't care if it is only for OS3.1 that is if you have a problem doing so for OS3.9
AND SELL IT TO US, NOW.
MAKE SOME MONEY WITH WHAT YOU'VE GOT.
>:-))
Because I have already paid for my $50.00 Amiga Club coupon - you can take another $50.00 from me and give me OS4.0 for my old AMIGAS 68k (060, 040, 030, 020 - yea, I have them all as well as OS3.5 & OS3.9!) to play with in the mean time.
I'll buy the AmigaOne when it (OS4.0) is finished and not before!
Come on Ben Hermans@Hyperion ... we ARE tired of waiting and waiting and waiting!!!!
