From various comments on different amiga sites, Ben Hermans has basically said that OS 4.0 boots and can launch software, but they want to iron out some slight glitches before demonstrating it for the first time, as they want to make a good first impression.

Also, they may have news for us soon.. I've seen a few comments from Hans-Joerg Frieden saying they may have news for us in the next few days. It's been a few days since hes said that, so I'm guessing maybe it will come in the next few (1-2) weeks. :)
