| Ben Hermans Interview on Amiga.org : Comment 65 of 80 | ANN.lu |
| Posted by Some Farker on 21-May-2003 16:57 GMT | In reply to Comment 47 (PMC): From a pure-games standpoint, for me, the A1 would have to have three things available to make it attractive:
A *smart* single-player first person shooter along the lines of Medal of Honor:Allied Assault, Half Life (c'mon September! WOO!), or Operation:Flashpoint. Quake, Quake II and Shogo need not apply.
A good combat space-sim, even if it was heavily story driven like the Wing Commander line (Descent Freespace is coming to the A1, correct?)
A flightsim wouldn't hurt either, even if it was "lite", like the titles published by NovaLogic.
And of *course*, good role-playing games. Baldur's Gate II, etc. Oh, yes, a company is planning to make computer games out of all the great Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure campaigns (the pen-and-paper ones). Be nice to see those get ported (won't happen, but would be nice.) |
