I can't see what's so hard about this. What Ben meant, is that he has tangible proof that satisfies *him*. He didn't say it was tangible proof that would satisfy *other* people.
As far as we other people are concerned, we have two choices: either we trust Ben's word, or we don't. Ben is a businessman, and so far a successful one in a poor market. It would not damage him were he to claim that Amiga, Inc. were going bust if in fact it were. It would, however, greatly damage his credibility, and thus his future business and his investment in Amiga OS, if he were to claim they were not going bust, when they are. So, I am inclined to believe him (although I wonder about that Bolton Peck business).
If you are not inclined to believe him, fine, but he is under no obligation to make you believe him, and I don't see him telling you to believe him: I see him stating what *he* believes.
'Course, I haven't read all the comments anyway. It gets tiresome after a while... |
